We are a member of TyneHealth Clinical Commissioning Group (TCCG) along with 17 other practices in the north and east of the city. Covering a population of 154,000 TCCG has been set up in response to the Governments plans to reform the NHS. These proposed plans put doctors and other clinicians in charge of commissioning NHS services on behalf of the local population.
Through the development of active patient and public involvement groups within each of the practices, TCCG aim to make sure patients’ views on health care in Newcastle are taken into account and influence the decisions taken.
